NEW STUDENT FACT SHEET 2023-2024
1. Parents must call the school office to make an appointment for a class visit.
2. Complete the Admission Application and Emergency Medical Authorization. Return these forms as soon as possible for all grades. Please be sure to provide a valid, monitored email, as this is the way in which we communicate to our parents.
3. Please fill in, sign and mail or deliver to your child’s current school, the Letter of Recommendation and the Release of Records forms (Grades K–2).
4. Appointments will be made for an interview with the Principal and a separate interview with the Pastor(s). For the Principal’s interview, new students must bring a copy of the last grading period report card, achievement test scores (Grade 1-2), immunization record (Grade K-2) and their birth certificate (Grade K-2).
5. The Principal and the School Commission approve all applicants based on the interviews, records received and the Academic Recommendation. Enrollment will not be completed until all these records are received.

Fees
1. There is a $150 Registration fee payable before student may attend classes.
2. All new students are required to have a physical exam (Health Evaluation Form). The completed form must be on file no later than 30 days after school begins.
3. Cleveland, EdChoice and EdChoice Expansion Scholarships accepted. Any family not residing in the City of Cleveland should apply for EdChoice or Ed Choice Expansion Scholarship
4. Tuition Assistance is available, upon acceptance. Please contact the school office for the application.
5. A Government lunch program is offered for students at free, reduced price or full pay lunches. Forms are available at the school office.
RETURNING STUDENT
Complete the Re-enrollment Application (both sides) and the Emergency Medical Authorization. Return these forms as soon as possible to insure a place in your child’s class. You may pay the Registration fee later, be aware of the late fees as stated in #1 below.
Fees
1. The application form will not be processed, IF FEES OR DEBTS FROM A PREVIOUS SCHOOL YEAR ARE UNPAID.
3. All 1st graders are required to have a physical exam (Health Evaluation Form). The completed form must be on file two weeks after school begins.
4. Tuition Assistance is available, upon acceptance. Please contact the school office for the application.
5. A Government lunch program is offered for students at free, reduced price or full pay lunches. Forms will be available sometime in July. For your child to be served lunch when the program starts, we MUST have your completed form in as soon as possible for qualification purposes.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY
Tuition Refund
If for any reason a student is not accepted by The Nottingham School prior to the beginning of classes, the student is entitled to a full refund of all monies paid. A student cancelling their application prior to the start of classes is entitled to a refund of all monies paid, minus the Registration Fee.
For students who withdraw from The Nottingham School after classes begin, tuition refunds will be issued on a monthly basis. Tuition is required for any month in which a student is in attendance, regardless of the number of days, and providing an official Request for Transfer or Withdrawal has been made.
For students enrolled through the Cleveland or EdChoice Scholarship programs, tuition is non-refundable. Scholarships may be transferred to another school that accepts these Scholarships.

All Activity Fees are Non-Refundable
Merchandise Returns
Merchandise returned within 14 days of purchase, and in resalable condition, will be refunded or exchanged.
